Frozen Ruins

Detroit’s once grandiose buildings now stand abandoned and in ruin. French photographers Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre set out to document the decline of an American city, that which at one point succinctly represented the true potential of the American Dream.

Their book “The Ruins of Detroit“, documents the vestiges of this American Dream; decaying buildings frozen in time. It was published in December 2010.
